Soft washing that lifts algae stains from stone without damaging it
Doug Steel runs Park Cities Power Wash, a veteran-owned exterior cleaning company serving homes and commercial properties within about 30 miles of Dallas since 2016. The company specializes in soft washing house exteriors, especially porous stone stained by algae, along with roofs, concrete, windows and commercial buildings.
Park Cities Power Wash is a veteran-owned, locally operated exterior cleaning company that has served Dallas since 2016. Doug Steel leads the business. Its specialty is soft washing house exteriors, particularly the porous stone common in Park Cities and Preston Hollow homes that turns dark with algae. The company says it pioneered a process for cleaning large, unique properties safely, using soft washing on all delicate surfaces to avoid damage.
Residential work includes house washing, roof cleaning, window and gutter cleaning, driveway, sidewalk and patio cleaning, fence and deck cleaning, rust removal and solar panel cleaning. Commercial work covers building and storefront washing, parking lots and garages, apartment and HOA exteriors, graffiti removal, dumpster pads, gas stations and post-construction cleanup, with night and weekend scheduling and a water reclamation system where needed.
The process is simple: an in-person or virtual estimate, a square-foot-based quote by text and email that includes labor, water and supplies, a text when the technician is on the way, and digital invoicing. Plants and pets are protected during residential jobs. The company states it is fully insured, including workers' compensation, and will return within 24 hours if a customer is not satisfied.

★★★★★3 months agoWow! What a difference Park Cities Powerwash has made in the look of our home. I had another power wash company come out before and after calling them to come back three times to clean up the mess they created the stains were still not off of the Austin Stone. Park Cities Powerwash made our Austin Stone look Brand new! I am very happy with the prompt, professional service they provided and at a great price!
★★★★★5 months agoWe recently had Park Cities Power Wash out to clean our pool decking and back patio, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Peyton handled the job and demonstrated a strong work ethic throughout. What stood out most was the level of attention to detail—this wasn’t a quick surface clean. The entire area was carefully treated, including corners, joints, and high-traffic areas where buildup tends to accumulate. Before the work began, the cleaning approach was clearly explained, including how pressure washing is combined with the right cleaning solutions to protect surfaces while still delivering a deep clean.
★★★★★2 months agoI had an outstanding experience with Park Cities Power Wash! From the moment I scheduled the appointment until the job was completed, the entire process was smooth, professional, and hassle-free. A special thank you to Peyton, who performed the soft wash service. He was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the process before getting started. His attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right were truly impressive. The results exceeded my expectations. The exterior of my home looks incredibly clean, with years of dirt, algae, and mildew completely removed without damaging the surfaces.
★★★★★2 months agoMiracle workers! We dropped a bucket of latex paint on the front driveway. And they were able to go remove all traces in one session. We are very pleased!
★★★★★7 months agoWe had the opportunity to work closely with Park Cities Power Wash over an extended period of time, and it gave us a unique, behind-the-scenes look at how professional this group is! What stood out immediately was their professionalism. Everything from job preparation to execution and cleanup, they do not skip steps. This group takes great caution, and property protection is a priority! They're very attentive to the details. We were able to see how they treat customers, how they communicate expectations, and how seriously they take protecting homes and commercial properties. This isn’t a “show up and spray” operation.
